About UPHESC

Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission is a corporate body that started working on November 1, 1982. Currently, there is a provision for appointing six extra members besides HOD in the commission. Tenure of HOD is assigned for 5 years or 68 years of age (whichever is first) whereas tenure of other members is assigned for 5 years or 65 years of age (whichever is first). Appointment of honorable Chairman and members is full-time.
