DSSSB follows the reservation policy as per Government of India and National Capital Territory of Delhi guidelines:
- SC: 15%
- ST: 7.5%
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 27%
- EWS: 10%
- PwBD: 4% (horizontal reservation across all categories)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per DoPT and Delhi government rules
Important conditions:
- OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued on or after 1st April of the application year
- PwBD candidates must have at least 40% benchmark disability and a certificate in the prescribed format
- All caste/category certificates must conform to DSSSB’s specified formats
Only candidates meeting domicile or central government eligibility norms can claim reservation. False claims lead to disqualification.
