The all-inclusive consolidated remuneration starts at ₹50,000 per month for the 1st Year, with an increment of ₹5,000 for every year of extension (₹55,000 in Year 2, ₹60,000 in Year 3, ₹65,000 in Year 4). Additionally, a consolidated amount of ₹12,000 per year is paid towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, and footwear allowance. Project Engineers completing the full 4-year tenure receive a Retention Bonus of ₹25,000 per completed year (₹1,00,000 total) payable at the end of 4 years. Gratuity is admissible as per BEL Employees Gratuity Scheme rules.

- Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) with PASS CLASS from a recognized University or Institution in the relevant discipline.
- Computer Science Disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science Engineering.
- Electronics Disciplines: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication, Telecommunication.
Experience Requirement
- Relevant post-qualification industry experience as on 01.10.2026 must be more than two years.
- Teaching / Academic / Research work, experience in banking and financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and internship placements that are part of the academic curriculum are not counted as experience.
Age Limit
- Upper age limit as on 01.10.2026 is 32 years for General and EWS category candidates.
- Age Relaxation: OBC (NCL) – 3 years; SC/ST – 5 years; PwBD (minimum 40% disability) – 10 years, in addition to relaxation applicable to OBC/SC/ST.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Shortlisting: Eligible applications are screened based on qualification and experience.
- Written Test: Shortlisted candidates appear for a written test carrying 85% weightage. Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Interview: Candidates qualifying the written test are called for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in order of merit in each role and each category. Interview carries 15% weightage. Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Final Merit: Based on combined written test and interview scores.

- Intimation Letter if currently working as Trainee Engineer in BEL

Important Instructions
- Project Engineers are appointed on a temporary contractual basis for an initial period of three years, extendable by up to one additional year (maximum tenure of 4 years). This is not a permanent cadre post.
- Lateral application for the same post (e.g., existing Project Engineer applying for Project Engineer) is not permitted and will be summarily rejected.
- Selected candidates must obtain Medical Insurance of ₹2 lakhs per annum and Life Cover Insurance of ₹5 lakhs per annum at the time of joining.
