Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Senior Project Associate: Master's degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Transportation Engineering from a recognized University.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial, Academic Institutions, or Science and Technology organizations.
• Desirable: Experience of field and/or laboratory testing is desirable. GATE qualified candidates may be preferred.
• Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women; 03 years for OBC (as per Govt. of India instructions).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates will appear for a Walk-in-Interview on 02.11.2026.
• Age, educational qualification, and experience will be considered as of the walk-in date.
• In case a large number of candidates turn up, shortlisting will be done by the Selection Committee as per fixed criteria.
• Final decision regarding allowing a candidate to appear for interview rests with the Director, CSIR-CRRI.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the walk-in interview.
• Candidates are encouraged to speak in Hindi during the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Master's in Engineering/Technology - Transportation Engineering).
• Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (Minimum 2 years R&D experience).
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Voter ID / PAN / Driving License / Passport / Aadhaar).
• Downloaded and Filled Application Form (Annexure-I) from official notification.
• NOC (Annexure-II) if higher degree is ongoing under AcSIR or MoU universities.
• No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Interview without Original Certificates.
