Eligibility:
- Educational Qualification:
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- For LDC/ JSA and DEO/ DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned in Para 8.1 above): Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- The candidates who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examination can also apply, however, they must possess Essential qualifications on or before the cutoff date i.e. 01-08-2025.
- Age Limit: The age limit for this recruitment is 18-27 Years. The crucial date for the calculation of the age is 1.8.2025. The age Relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government.
- Nationality: Indian citizen.

Exam Pattern:
The exam is conducted in two tiers:
Tier 1: Objective type Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Sections: General Intelligence, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness.
- Number of Questions: 100 questions (20 marks each).
- Total Marks: 200.
- Negative Marking: 1/2 mark for each wrong answer.
Tier 2: Descriptive Typing Test and Skill Test (for Data Entry Operator post only).
- Descriptive Typing Test: English and Hindi, with minimum speed requirements.
- Skill Test: Typing speed test for Data Entry Operator post.
Selection Process:
- Candidates who qualify Tier 1 are eligible for Tier 2.
- Shortlisted candidates based on combined Tier 1 and Tier 2 scores are called for Skill Test (if applicable).
- Finally, based on merit, candidates are recommended for various posts.
Important Dates:
Typically, the notification is released in May-June and the exam is conducted in August-October.
