SSC GD Notification Date

SSC GD Application Fees
Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
SSC GD Vacancies, Eligibility
Age Limit: The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-01-2026 in accordance with the provisions of the DoP&T OM No. 14017/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. Accordingly, the age of the candidate must be 18-23 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-2003 and not later than 01-01-2008).

SSC GD CBT Exam Pattern
The SSC GD CBT exam consists of four subjects: Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge (GK), Mathematics, and Language (English/Hindi). Each section contains 20 questions, with 2 marks awarded for each correct answer, totaling 180 marks for the exam. A negative marking of 1/4th (0.50 marks) applies for each incorrect answer. The exam duration is 60 minutes.
