Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

UPPSC Education Qualification

For candidates aspiring to participate in the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination, a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification is mandatory up to the last date for receipt of the application. C

Management Officer/Manager (Estate Department)	(1) A bachelor’s degree from a university established by law in India; (2) Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from an Institution recognized by the Government. or A bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from a University established by law in India.
Asstt. Director of Industries (Handloom)	Post Graduate Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce or Technology from a recognized Institution or University or at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile.

Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary exam of UPPSC PCS 2024 is conducted offline and consists of 2 papers held in different shifts. Each paper is allotted 200 marks, and candidates have 2 hours to complete each paper. The distribution of questions is as follows:

• Merit is determined based on marks obtained in Paper I of the Preliminary Examination.

Main Examination

The UPPSC PCS Main written examination comprises six compulsory and two optional papers, each with a duration of 3 hours.
