Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Project Research Scientist-II (Medical) – 1 Post
- Qualification (any one of the following):
- MBBS / BVSc / BDS with three years' post-qualification experience; or
- MBBS / BVSc / BDS + Post Graduate Degree (MD / MVSc / MDS / MPH) or any equivalent degree including integrated PG degrees; or
- MBBS / BVSc / BDS with PhD
- Experience Required: Three years' post-qualification experience under option 1
- Desirable: Experience in public health, infectious disease research, molecular diagnostics, clinical/field research, project coordination, or One Health work; LAMP development preferred
Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) – 1 Post
- Qualification (any one of the following):
- Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) with three years' post-qualification experience; or
- Post Graduate Degree with PhD; or
- Four-year Graduate Degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science with three years' post-qualification experience
- Experience Required: Three years' post-qualification experience where stated
- Desirable: Experience in molecular biology, microbiology, pathogen detection, microbiome/resistome profiling, laboratory research, bioinformatics/data analysis, or scientific reporting
Project Technical Support-III – 2 Posts
- Qualification (any one of the following):
- Three-year Graduate degree in relevant subject/field + three years' post-qualification experience; or
- Post Graduate degree in a relevant subject/field; or
- Four-year Graduate Degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science
- Experience Required: Three years' post-qualification experience with a three-year graduate degree
- Desirable: Experience in laboratory procedures, sample collection/processing, RT-LAMP/PCR/qPCR, nucleic-acid extraction, reagent preparation, documentation, quality control, or field sample handling
General Conditions
- Private practice of any type is prohibited
- Candidates must not have been convicted by any Court of Law
- Must conform to rules of conduct and discipline applicable to AIIMS Bhopal employees
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Shortlisting: Applications will be screened and candidates shortlisted based on the number of applications received and eligibility criteria.
- Written Test / Skill Test and/or Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be assessed through a Written Test/Skill Test and/or Interview as deemed necessary.
- Communication: Date, time, and venue will be intimated to shortlisted candidates by email only.
- Reporting: Shortlisted candidates must report at the venue not later than 09:00 AM on the intimated date.
- Venue (unless otherwise intimated): Department of Translational Medicine, Ground Floor of the Nursing College Building, AIIMS Bhopal, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview.

Terms of Engagement & Contract Duration
- The position is for an initial period of up to one year, extendable up to the duration of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
- No right to regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Bhopal or ICMR.
- The contract can be terminated by either side with 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof.
- Leave is governed by ICMR leave policy for extramural research projects.
- No hostel or accommodation will be provided.
