Sub : Filling up the post of Accounts Officer (Group -B Gazetted) in Level. 8 of Pay Matrix (Pre. revised Rs. 7500-12000 1 Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4800) in ALHW on deputation basis -reg.
i. One post of Accounts Officer, in Level 8 of Pay Matrix, falling vacant w.e.f. 01.12.2021, in the Office of the Chief Engineer & Administrator, MoPS&W, Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works, Port Blair. It is proposed to fill up the post on deputation basis initially for a period of three years which may be curtailed at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

6. Officers of the Central Government
l) Holding analogous posts or Accountant Audit Officers including those in organized Accounts/Audit Departments. Or
II) Holding posts of Junior Accounts Officer/Accountant or equivalent in Level 06 of Pay Matrix (Pre- revised Rs. 5500-9000 / Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200 ) with 3 years regular service in the grade. Or
Ill) Officers of the Central Government holding posts in the pay scale of Rs. 6500- 10500 / PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4600 (Pre-revised) or equivalent on regular basis and who have undergone training in the Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management or equivalent and possess experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work.
IV) Subordinate Accounts Service accountants with 3 years regular service in the grade from any of the organized Accounts department. (Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization [department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.

i. The applications, alongwith Bio-data of the officers who fulfill all the eligibility conditions and also can be relieved immediately on their selection, may be forwarded thro' proper channel to the Chief Engineer & Administrator, ALHW, Post Box No. 161, Mohanpura, Port Blair-744101, within 60 days from the date of issue of this circular.
2. While forwarding the application, the required certificates as given in Annexure-Ill may also be furnished.
3. The copies of APAR dossiers of the candidate for the last 5 years duly attested (on each page) by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary, may be forwarded alongwith the application.
