Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position of Project Fellow to work in the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA 2.0) sponsored thematic research project “Component 10 : Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement” - Social Sciences under the supervision of Dr. K. Vetrivel, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli -620 024
1.Title of the Project: Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Urban and Peri-Urban areas in Tamil Nadu - Challenges and Concerns of Gender, Environment and Marginalized Communities.
2. Name of the Post : Project Fellow
3. No of Post : 01
4. Area of work : Entrepreneurship Development, and Need assessment of employment and Micro Enterprise Development
5. Duration : 2 Years The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, and extendable to one additional year. The position is co-terminus with the project.
6. Qualifications : M.A. / M.Phil in Economics with minimum of 60 % marks / CGPA 6.1 and above
7. Preferred :
a) Passed University Ph.D Entrance Examination or NET/SET
b) Good communication skills
c) Experience in data collection & report writing
d) Proficiency to read & write in Tamil & English
e) Typing higher/lower (both English & Tamil)
f) Knowledge in DTP works
8 .Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/-pm (consolidated)

Selection Procedure
1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
2. The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project.
3. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in Funding Agency.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview
