Eligibility for Factory Inspector

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent qualification notified by the State Government in the Gazette. Regular MBBS degree will be considered under Medicine. Candidates must possess a degree in any branch of Engineering, Technology, or Medicine.
• Experience: Two years of practical experience in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine in a reputed firm or government department. For degree holders from recognized universities, practical training during the university course up to a maximum of one year will be counted towards the required practical experience.
• Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Age Limit

• Unreserved (Male): 37 years
• Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class (Male & Female) and Unreserved (Female): 40 years
• Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male & Female): 42 years
• Government Servants: 5 years relaxation (maximum 5 opportunities after 12.12.2022).
• Ex-servicemen: 3 years plus the period of defense service, provided actual age does not exceed 57 years.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on an interview and educational qualifications. If the number of candidates exceeds the limit, shortlisting will be done based on the average percentage from Matric to the minimum required qualification. Candidates will be called for an interview (100 marks) and will receive marks based on educational qualifications (Matric 10, Intermediate 20, Graduation 60, Post Graduation 10).

• Biometric Fee: Rs 200/- (If Aadhaar number is not entered as identity proof)
• Additional bank charges applicable.

7. Download and print the hard copy of the application.
