Reservation Note: Reservation benefits are applicable to Bihar state domicile candidates only. Applicants from outside Bihar are not entitled to reservation. Physically handicapped candidates will be given reservation and relaxation as per Govt. of Bihar rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• A Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II of the NMC Act.
• NMC recognized P.G. qualification of MS/DNB.
• Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 45 Years as on 23/03/2026.
• Age Relaxation: As per State Govt. Rule – 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for EBC/BC, and 3 years for all categories of Female Candidates.
• Person working in Govt. Institution shall be given relaxation as per rule.

Mandatory Requirements

• Physically fit for the duties of a Senior Resident.
• Must be a registered medical practitioner.

Selection Process

This is a Direct Walk-in Interview process. The selection will be based on a marking scheme and interview.

1. Document Verification (09:00 AM - 10:30 AM on 23/03/2026).
2. Walk-in Interview (Starting at 11:00 AM on 23/03/2026).
3. Final Selection by the Selection Committee based on bio-data and interview performance.

Marking Scheme for Ad-hoc Appointment

Minimum Qualifying Criteria

• UR: 50 Percentile
• BC/EBC/EWS: 45 Percentile
• SC/ST: 40 Percentile

• SC/ST/EBC Candidates: Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred & fifty only)
