Skills / Eligibility

Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate –I/II (PA-I/II) to work in the research project entitled ‘Cost effective sustainable process for microalgal based γ-linolenic acid production from microalgae through biorefinery approach’ for a duration of two months.

3. Essential qualifications for Project Associate – I: M.Sc. in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.

4. Essential qualifications for Project Associate - II: M.Sc. in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent. WITH 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organization and Scientific activities and services.

5. Monthly Emoluments for Project Associate – I: Rs. 31000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) A selection process through National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Department and their Agencies and Institutions. Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.

6. Monthly Emoluments for Project Associate – II: Rs. 35000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) A selection process through National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Department and their Agencies and Institutions. Rs. 28000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.

7. Duration: These positions are purely temporary up to 31/03/2022. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.

Selection Procedure

Applications received by email will be scrutinized based on a certain criteria and only shortlisted candidates as are eligible as per the criteria will be asked to attend interview using online mode, i.e. MSTEAMS. The details of the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates by email.
