Eligibility for Project Officer – Water Stewardship
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resources, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in water management, water stewardship, WASH, infrastructure-linked sustainability projects, or development sector programmes. Prior experience working with schools, government institutions, or community-based water projects is desirable. Exposure to Rainwater Harvesting, greywater reuse, recharge structures, or water audits will be an added advantage.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong coordination and field implementation skills; ability to work with technical drawings, measurements, checklists, and monitoring formats; proficiency in digital tools (spreadsheets, shared drives, trackers); strong organizational, follow-up, and reporting skills; ability to balance technical understanding with community engagement; willingness to travel frequently.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in Kannada and English is required. Working knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
