Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications relevant to the trade applied for. National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) under DGT (Regular/RPL variants) is mandatory for all trades.

• Guest Instructor (Fitter):
  • B.Voc/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1-year experience
  • OR 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2-year experience
  • OR NTC/NAC in Tool & Die Maker or Fitter with 3-year experience.
• Guest Instructor (Electrician):
  • B.Voc/Degree in Electrical Engineering with 1-year experience
  • OR 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2-year experience
  • OR NTC/NAC in Electrician with 3-year experience.
• Guest Instructor (Solar Technician):
  • B.Voc/Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 1-year experience
  • OR 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with 2-year experience
  • OR NTC/NAC in Solar Technician with 3-year experience.
• Guest Instructor (Cosmetology):
  • B.Voc/Degree in relevant field with 2-year experience
  • OR 3-year Diploma in Beauty Culture/Cosmetology with 2-year experience
  • OR NTC/NAC in Hair & Skin Care/Cosmetology with 3-year experience.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Age as on: 01-01-2026 (Date of Cut-off).
• Maximum Age: Not specified in the notification.

3. Age Relaxation

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates will be applicable as per Government of Odisha rules.

Selection Process

Selection for the Guest Instructor post will be based on a Walk-in Interview process. Candidates will be evaluated through the following stages:

3. Skill Test
4. Assessment of Teaching Experience
5. Preference for CITS Trained Candidates
