CMRL Recruitment 2022 for Deputy General Manager

CMRL invites applications from qualified and experienced personnel for the appointment of following positions on contract basis

1. Position: Deputy General Manager (Quality)

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Consolidated Pay (Per Month): Rs.90,000/-

4. Min. Exp. (Yrs): 13

5. Required Qualification and Experience:-

Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil engineering from a Govt. recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC. The candidate should have minimum 13 years of experience post engineering degree or 11 years of experience post diploma and 7 years of experience post engineering degree

1. Position: Deputy General Manager (Safety)

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Consolidated Pay (Per Month): Rs.90,000/-

4. Min. Exp. (Yrs): 13

5. Required Qualification and Experience:-

a. Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical engineering from a Govt. recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC along with Diploma in Industrial Safety or Certificate in OSHA / NEBOSH / Safety Management by IOSH.

b. The candidate should have minimum 13 years of experience post engineering degree or 11 years of experience post diploma and 7 years of experience post engineering degree. Out of overall years of experience, the candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) in major infrastructure works e.g. Metro /Railways/ Airports/ Highways/ Large Industrial or commercial or residential building projects.

1. Position: Assistant Manager (Environment)

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Consolidated Pay (Per Month): Rs.60,000/-

4. Min. Exp. (Yrs): 02

5. Required Qualification and Experience:-

Must be a M.E / M.Tech (Environment) graduate from a recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC. Should have 2 years of post-qualification executive experience and proven track record including preparation of EIA work/report for various construction projects. Should monitor and comply with the statutory requirements of CPCB & TNPCB and liase for approval and clearences to be obtained with the respective boards.

6. Desirable:

a. Experience in Metro Rail Projects / Railway Project (JICA/ADB etc., funded projects) and Environment clearance for Class A and Class B Project. Experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (System Certification etc.,) involving preparation of documents for ISO 140001, OHSAS18001 and ISO5001

b. Knowledge on addressing the funding agency of MDB’s E& S Safeguard requirements. Green Building knowledge about requirements of green building as per IGBC norms.

Selection Procedure

1. The selection methodology comprises two-stage process, interview followed by medical examination. The selection process will judge the candidate on different facets like knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness.

2. Medical Examination:

a. Expenses for the first time medical examination of the candidate will be borne by CMRL. However, in case a candidate seeks extension for joining, then the second time medical examination expenditure will be borne by the candidate. To & fro travel expenses for the medical test shall be borne by the candidate

b. The candidate who fails in the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment and decision of CMRL is final on this issue.
