Deputy Estate Manager (1 post)

• Officers holding analogous posts or Senior Assistant Estate Manager or equivalent posts in the discipline of Estate Division, in the scale of pay of Rs. 10,750 – Rs. 16,750 with 4 years' service in the grade in a Major Port Trust.
• Required Qualification: Degree with a Post Graduate degree/diploma in Architecture or Town & Country Planning, or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution, or Corporate Membership of the Institution of Surveyors (India).

Senior Assistant Estate Manager (1 post)

• Officers holding analogous posts or Asstt. Estate Manager, Gr. I or equivalent posts in the discipline of Estate Division, in the scale of pay of Rs. 9,100 – Rs. 15,100 with 5 years' service in the grade in a Major Port Trust.
• Required Qualification: Degree with a Post Graduate degree/diploma in Architecture or Town & Country Planning, or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution, or Corporate Membership of the Institution of Surveyors (India).

Other Conditions

• Only officers of Major Port Authorities may apply.
• Applicant must hold an analogous or feeder post in the Estate discipline at a Major Port Trust.
• Applicant undertakes not to withdraw candidature if selected and to accept the posting.
• Desirable: A degree in Law from a recognised University.

Who Cannot Apply

• Applications not received through proper channel.
• Applications received after the last date, without APARs, or otherwise incomplete.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Selection is based on scrutiny of eligibility criteria for absorption/deputation into the Deendayal Port Authority cadre. There is no written examination. The selection process involves:

1. Eligibility Verification: Review of qualification, grade, and years of service in the Estate discipline at a Major Port Trust.
2. Document & APAR Scrutiny: Verification of APARs for the last five years, experience certificates, and vigilance/administrative clearance.
3. Vigilance Review: Vigilance report in Annexure-IV format and Head of Office certification of integrity with no penalty in the last 10 years.
4. Final Approval: Subject to clearance from the concerned Port Authority and DPA administration.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates. Selection is entirely through proper channel from the employing Port — no direct applications are entertained.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

1. Attested copies of APARs for the last five years.
2. Attested copies of all educational and experience certificates.
3. No-objection Certificate (NOC) from the respective Port.
4. Undertaking not to withdraw candidature if selected.
5. Vigilance and Administrative Clearance from the concerned Port.
6. Vigilance report in the prescribed Annexure-IV format.
7. Head of Office certified Bio-Data form (Annexure-III) with recent passport-size photograph, signed and sealed.
8. ACRs from 01/04/2021 to 31/03/2026 as per Head of Office certificate.
9. Details of any major or minor penalty in the last 10 years, sent by the forwarding authority.
