Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
1. Nationality & Age Limit
- Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India. (Non-Punjab domicile candidates are treated under the General category).
- Age Limit: There is no specified minimum or maximum age limit for appearing in PSTET 2026. (However, age limits will apply when applying for specific teacher recruitment jobs later).
2. Educational Qualification
For Paper 1 (Classes 1–5):
