Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

All three posts require qualification as per NMC (MCI) guidelines. Updated NMC / State Medical Council registration is mandatory for all candidates.

• Professor (16 Posts): Qualification as per NMC (MCI) guidelines. Must hold valid and updated NMC / State Medical Council registration.
• Associate Professor (26 Posts): Qualification as per NMC (MCI) guidelines. Must hold valid and updated NMC / State Medical Council registration. Retired or working Professors may apply to vacant Associate Professor posts; salary will be as per the Professor scale.
• Assistant Professor (17 Posts): Qualification as per NMC (MCI) guidelines. Must hold valid and updated NMC / State Medical Council registration.

Additional Conditions:

• Candidates employed in Government / Autonomous / Statutory institutions should preferably bring an NOC or a copy of the "applied for NOC" letter at the time of interview.
• No private practice is allowed in any capacity after joining.
• Age limit: Maximum 69 years as on 18 November 2026.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection of candidates for the 59 teaching faculty posts at ESIC MCH Bihta is based on:

1. Academic Credentials Screening: Candidates' academic qualifications, research publications, and professional credentials will be evaluated as per NMC guidelines.
2. Interview Before the Selection Board: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an offline interview before the appointed Selection Board at the campus venue.

Pay and Terms of Contractual Engagement

• Tenure: 01 (One) year or attainment of 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
• Termination: Engagement may be terminated from either side with one-month prior notice without assigning reason.
• On-Spot Resignation: One month's salary is to be deposited to ESIC account through Challan.
• Benefits Excluded: No claim for PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance/Benefits, Seniority, or Promotion.
• Absence Clause: Absence beyond 07 days without permission amounts to voluntary abandonment and automatic termination.
• Salary Disbursement: Monthly pay is paid according to data in the Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS); attendance must be marked daily.
