Engineers India Limited, a Navratna PSU and an Engineering Consultancy Company is looking for dynamic & self-motivated professionals with zeal to learn, contribute and grow with the Company. In the last five decades, the Company has executed some of India’s major projects in refineries, petrochemicals, pipelines, offshore, metallurgy, infrastructure & fertilizer sectors and has embarked on an expansion plan into sunrise sectors such as Nuclear, Solar, Water & Waste Management with increasing international presence in over 13 countries world-wide.
1. Position : Chief General Manager
2. No of post : 01
3. Minimum Educational Qualification : B.E. /B. Tech/B. Sc. (Engg.) from a recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks. Chemical Engineering Graduates shall have added advantage.
4. Post Qualification Experience : Minimum 23 years, out of which majority should be in the Operation and/or Maintenance of Ammonia and Urea based fertilizer plants. Last five years’ experience should be in senior management position as Operation Head (Ammonia/ Urea/ Bagging)/ Maintenance Head/ Project Head. Experience in pre-commissioning/ commissioning of ammonia and urea plant projects will be an added advantage. Should have knowledge of fertilizer policies of India.

3. Minimum Educational Qualification : Degree in law (full time) with minimum 50% marks from recognized University/Institute in India
4. Post Qualification Experience : Minimum 21 years (at least 5 years in a senior Management position) in any of the following organizations/entities: 1) As Full-Time Officer/Executive in the Legal Department of a Public Sector Undertaking or a Statutory Corporation 2) As Full-Time Officer/Executive in the Legal Department in a Central/State Government Department/Undertaking/Institution 3) As Full-Time Officer/Executive in the Legal Department in a Central/State Regulatory Body 4) As a Judicial Officer in the Judicial Services of any State. 5) As an Executive in the Legal Department of a Large Private Sector Organization/Company of repute as an employee of that Company.
5. Essential Work Experience Areas: Candidates should have experience of working in any of the following areas: i) Arbitration (including commercial arbitration) & Conciliation matters, Industrial/ Labour law matters and other dispute resolution mechanisms ii) Drafting & Vetting various Legal or contractual documents, providing legal opinions, handling legal matters pertaining to Mergers, Acquisitions & Joint Ventures, Regulatory matters etc. iii) Handling litigation (Civil, Consumer and Criminal) before different Judicial/Quasi-Judicial Forums, All things equal, Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Industry

4. Post Qualification Experience : Minimum 19 years experience in the areas as mentioned above for General Manager

Pay Scale: INR 120000 - 280000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
1. The mode of selection for the position will be through interview, generally at Delhi or through video conferencing. (Venue/Mode of Interview shall be intimated separately to the shortlisted candidates).
2. The prescribed qualification/experience are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle a candidate for participating in the selection process. EIL may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview by raising the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or relevance of experience required for the post etc. Only short-listed candidates will be informed for interview through email.
3. Candidates should retain a copy of online application form(s) for future reference.
4. Copy of the online application is not to be sent by post. The print out of application should be retained for reference by candidate at the time of personal interview (for interview carried out through modes other than Video Conferencing).
5. Those short listed for interview shall be intimated through e-mail. In absence of any of the documents mentioned below, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for interview and in that case, no travel expenses shall be reimbursed (for personal interview carried out through modes other than Video Conferencing).
How to Apply:
Online submission of application will be permitted on the website between 0000 hrs on 13.04.2022 till 2359 hrs on 03.05.2022.
STEP 1: Eligible candidates need to apply through on-line registration system on EIL website. To apply visit the career link in EIL website i.e. http://www.engineersindia.com
STEP 2: Read CAREFULLY all the instructions given on the website.
STEP 3: Fill in the online form with all the relevant and correct details.
STEP 4: The candidate before starting online registration should keep the properly scanned copies (readable form), of the following documents / certificates ready for uploading during registration of application: a) Latest Passport size colour photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format of not more than 75 KB size b) Signature in .jpg/.jpeg format of not more than 25 KB size c) All qualifying certificate, all years/semester marksheets and experience certificates of not more than 900 KB each in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format d) Disability certificate (PwD), if applicable of not more than 500 KB each in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format e) Certificate for belonging to EWS, if applicable, of not more than 500 KB each in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format f) Aadhar Card in .jpg/.jpeg format of not more than 500 KB size
STEP 5: The candidates are not required to send the print out of the registered application form filled on line. They need to retain a copy of the printout of the application form which will be required at the time of personal interview (for interview carried out through modes other than Video Conferencing) if shortlisted.
STEP 6: The cut-off date of post-qualification relevant experience and upper age is 31.03.2022.
