EDII invites applications for the post of Mentor under SVEP Project
1. Position – Mentor
2. Location: Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand
3. Qualification & Experience:
a) Relevant University qualification in a Management discipline (Business Administration/Rural Development or equivalent) with at least two (02) years of professional working experience.
b) Graduate in any stream with at least five (05 years) of professional working experience in the area of microenterprise promotion/working with communities.
c) Recent pass outs from premier Institutes (IRMA, TISS, EDII, NIRD, XIMB etc with Post Graduate qualifications may also be considered for the position as Young Professionals
d) The candidate must have experience in micro enterprise promotion or working with community Institutions. Experience of promoting collectives/producers companies is an added advantage.
e) The candidate should possess good documentation and reporting skills, computer literacy and good communication ability.
4. Job Description: Implement the SVEP program in the assigned block, key responsibilities include:
a) Assist PIA and SRLM during selection and training of Community Resources Persons – Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EPs)
b) Guide and support CRP-EP during the training programme, on-field activities and enterprise promotion.
c) Develop and maintain repository of best practices, case studies, videos and photos and process related audio visuals for specific business functions.
d) To systematically maintain all the relevant project documents & records.
e) Maintain administrative and accounting documents and its timely submission.
f) Report regularly on the status of the assigned initiatives to the Head and Project Directors
g) Overall responsibility and General administration of the field office.

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) is an autonomous organization that was established in 1983 with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship education, research, training and institution building. It is based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
EDII offers a variety of programs and courses to support aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners. These include short-term and long-term training programs, management development programs, entrepreneurship development programs, and online courses.
The institute has partnerships with various organizations and institutions in India and around the world to promote entrepreneurship and support the growth of startups. It has also undertaken research and consultancy projects for the government and other organizations on various aspects of entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
EDII has been recognized as a Centre of Excellence by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, and has been awarded the prestigious National Entrepreneurship Award in 2017.
