Skills / Eligibility
Walk-in-Interview will be conducted for the following purely project-based temporary position at G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, Sikkim Regional Centre (GBPNIHE-SRC), Panthang, Gangtok, Sikkim i. NMHS funded Project "Establishment of Him-Nature Learning Centre in Sikkim" 1. Position: Project Assistant (1 No.) 2. Salary: Rs. 10,000/- per month. 3. Essential: i. Bachelor degree in any discipline 4. Desirable: i. Proficiency & experience in field work and data collection 5. Nature of Duties & responsibilities i. Development of Nature trails
ii. Physically fit to work in the Himalayan Region.
iii. Efficiency in Computer work
ii. Nursery development
iii. Collection of plant material from field
iv. Support in organizing various events
v. Other work and responsibilities assigned time to time
Pay Scale:
INR
10000(Per Month)
Age Limit: 45 yrs.

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Eligible candidates may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 14 December 2021 at 10:30 A.M. onwards, both through online/ off-line mode, at G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, Sikkim Regional Centre, Panthang, Gangtok, Sikkim.
2. Candidates must bring all original documents, certificates, testimonials, publications/thesis/dissertation/reports, etc., along with one set (photocopy) of all the documents and CV.
3. Those candidates who wish to appear for interview through online mode should send advance copy of the bio-data alongwith application in the prescribed format with all supporting documents to the Regional Centre Head, GBPNIHE, Sikkim Regional Centre by e-mail ([email protected]) on or before 12 December, 2021.
4. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC candidates will be considered as per Government of India norms.
