Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Rural Home Guard: Minimum 7th Standard Pass. Candidate must be a permanent resident of the block they are applying for.
- Urban Home Guard: Minimum 10th Standard Pass (Matriculation). Candidate must be a resident of the notified urban area.
- Urban Technical Home Guard: 10th Pass with specific technical skills (Electrician, Mechanic, Fireman, Driver, etc.).
- Age Limit: 19 to 40 years as on 1st January 2026.
- Physical Standards: Male Height 162cm (Gen/BC), 157cm (SC/ST); Female Height 148cm.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Application Scrutiny and Eligibility Verification.
- Physical Measurement Test (Height/Chest).
- Physical Efficiency Test (Running, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put).
- Hindi Writing Ability Test (Qualifying nature).
- Technical Skill Test (Applicable for Urban Technical candidates only).
- Merit List Preparation & Document Verification.
