Educational Qualification: M.Sc

Interview in Online mode will be conducted for filling up a temporary post for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the SERB-POWER funded project entitled, “Investigation into Biological Functions of the Stress Responsive Transfer RNA Aspartic Acid Methyltransferase 1 (TRDMT1/DNMT2) in the Moss Physcomitrium patens” sanctioned to the undersigned.

2. Number of position: 01 JRF

3. Essential Qualifications: Masters (fulltime) in Biotechnology/Biology/Plant sciences from UGC recognized government university/institution and with atleast CSIR/UGCNET LS (Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) qualified. Candidate should be I st class throughout, from 10th Std. onwards up to post-graduation.

4. Desirable Qualification: Research experience in Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Tissue Culture are highly desirable.

5 .Salary: Rs. 31000/-p.m. +HRA (as per university rules) for first and second years; Rs. 35000/-p.m.+ HRA (as per university rules) for the third year.
