Advertisement for the Post of Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF) Under GITA-DST Funded India-Taiwan Project
Applications are invited for the post of Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF) in research project entitled “Development of Deep Learning Based Hashing Techniques for Image Retrieval” in reference to the sanction order File No. GITA/DST/TWN/P-83/2019 dated: 19.02.2020 by Global Innovation and Technology Alliance (GITA) on behalf of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India.

3. Project Title : Development of Deep Learning Based Hashing Techniques for Image Retrieval
4. Duration: Initially for Six Months, may be extended for another Six Months/till the availability of funds based on the satisfactory performance OR further period(s) based on further project extension and satisfactory performance of the candidate.
5. Essential Qualifications : JRF: BTech/MTech/Equivalent in CSE/IT/ECE/Equivalent SRF: Essential Qualifications for JRF + 2 Years of Relevant Research Experience
6. Desirable Qualifications :
a) GATE Qualified in Last 3 Year
b) Knowledge of Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
c) Exposure of Python programming including Pytorch and Tensorflow tools.
d) The preference may be given to the candidates who published papers in reputed Journals/Conferences.
7. Fellowship:As per the funding agency norm (i.e., for JRF Rs. 31000 + 10% HRA and for SRF Rs. 35000 + 10% HRA as per funding agency norm). No other allowances admissible

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) was established in 1999, as a center of excellence in Information Technology (IT) and allied areas. The institute was conferred the "Deemed University" status by the Government of India in the year 2000. It was declared as an “Institute of National Importance” by the Act of the Parliament, Govt. of India in 2014. The Institute has been conceived with the objective of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower in IT and areas of allied research.
