PGIMER Senior Resident Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

• Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Candidates with Part-II third schedule must also fulfill Section 13(3) conditions.)
• Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
• Postgraduate qualification of an Indian University or MD (General Medicine) or equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India.
• Note: Candidates who have completed 3 years tenure of Senior Residency and have done DM/M.Ch are not eligible.

No prior experience required. Freshers with MD/DNB are eligible.
