IIIT, Nagpur is offering Under Graduate and PhD Programmes in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Courses. The Institute is located at S.No. 140,141/1 Behind Br. Sheshrao Wankhade Shetkari Sahkari Soot Girni, Village - Waranga, PO - Dongargaon (Butibori), District – Nagpur, Maharashtra – 441108. The development of state-of-the-art Permanent Campus of the Institute is being undertaken on sprawling 100 Acres of land. The Institute invites applications from eligible candidates for the following contractual project based position: Advt. No.: IIITN/ADMIN/2022-23/Project/DVK-02 1. Position: Junior Research Fellow 2. No. of Post = 1 3. Project Title: Deaf & Mute Sign Language Translator using Artificial Intelligence 4. Duration of the Project: 2 Years (approximately) 5. Tenure of Scheme & Assignment: The post is purely temporary and the tenure shall be coterminous with the Approved Project Duration. Appointment will be made initially for 1 Year and further extendable subject to satisfactory performance. It would, therefore, not confer any right for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in IIITN. However, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program of IIITN as per applicable guidelines. 6. Consolidated Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- Per Month (Consolidated) 7. Essential Qualifications: ME / M.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering) 8. Desired Skills a) Candidate with research experience in the relevant field. b) Ability to work in the team and good communication skills. c) Experimental experience in Python / Matlab; Knowledge of Image Processing shall be added advantage.
