Notification for Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow, Electrical Engineering Project funded by SERB Start-Up Research Grant Ref: IITPKD/2022/012/EE/VIM

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow

2. No. of Positions: One

3. Project areas: Automated Microscope, Mechanical Design

4. Required skills: Mechanical CAD Design using Fusion 360, concept sketching, vendor management for CNC machining and other tasks, prototyping, geometric dimensioning and tolerance, documentation in English.

5. Eligibility: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with a valid GATE/NET score), Demonstrated experience in the design of prototypes.

6. Appointment duration: Initially for one year and extendable depending on satisfactory performance of the candidate and availability of funds.

7. Salary Particulars: The monthly remuneration for this position will be Rs. 31,000/- (Thirty One Thousand Rupees Only). Hostel accommodation may be provided at the institute based on availability on a chargeable basis. In case of non-availability of institute hostel, admissible HRA will be provided as per Government of India rules.
