Online Applications are invited from young, bright and highly motivated individuals for the following regular positions to work at IIA, Bengaluru and its other field stations/campuses. IIA reserves the right of posting the selected candidates at any of the IIA facilities as and when required. 5. Essential: Diploma in Electronics Engineering (OR) Electronics & Communication Engineering (3 Year Full time) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from Central/State Government/ AICTE recognized institute.

6. Desirable: Professional Training in Electronic Circuit Schematic and PCB Design software in Orcad/ Proteus/ Eagle/ Altium. Professional Certificate Training in soldering of through hole and SMD components.

7. Experience: Essential: Minimum three (3) years of working experience related to Electronic Circuit Schematic Design, multi-layer PCB Design, Soldering (Through Hole and SMD Components) and Testing of PCBs involving power, analog and digital circuit components, in any of the Central/State Government/ Private organizations.

8. Desirable: Practical experience of operating lab equipment like Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO), Digital Power Supplies, Function generator etc. Knowledge in computers on Windows platform using MS Office. Handling of Sensitive electronic equipment like CCD/CMOS cameras.

9. Job description: Design, soldering and testing of multilayer PCBs for institute projects involving ground and space based astronomical instrumentation projects. Preparation of Bill of Material (BoM) of the designed PCB. Procurement of components and inventory management. Handling and maintenance of Test and Measurement Equipment. Managing regular activities of Electronics Laboratory of Institute. Candidate should be ready to work in shifts based on the job requirement.

Selection Procedure

1) Selection to post/s will be on the basis of initial screening, and then qualifying in the Written &/or Skill test. Where the number of applications received in response to the Advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the IIA to conduct test to all those candidates, the IIA has the right to limit the candidates to be called for test on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the Advertisement.

2) Qualification and experience prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test. Initial screening will be conducted based on the academic performance and experience. List of shortlisted candidates and the date of written &/or skill test will be notified in the Institute website. Admission Card for written &/or skill test will be sent only through e-mail.

3) The Institute reserves the right to conduct a skill test, if necessary, for the candidates who qualify written test. In case it is decided to conduct the skill test, the list of shortlisted candidates, date and venue will be notified in the Institute website and intimation will also be sent only through e-mail.

4) Final list of selected candidates will be notified in the Institute website.
