The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM-T), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released an official advertisement for the recruitment of an Estate Intern. This recruitment is strictly on a contract basis for a duration of eleven months.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh Commerce graduates (B.Com/M.Com) looking for professional experience in a premier government institute. The role is based at the IIM Tiruchirappalli campus and involves working in the Estate Office with administrative and computer-based tasks.

This is a Contractual Recruitment involving a competitive selection process. Candidates will be selected based on a Written Test, Skill Test, and Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: B.Com or M.Com passed from a recognized university.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Computer Operations is mandatory.
• Experience: Previous working experience is desirable (but not mandatory).

2. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Up to 28 years.
• Age Calculation Date: Age is calculated as of the last date for submission of the application (11th March 2026).
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be conducted in three stages. No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for attending the selection process.

1. Written Test: To screen candidates based on essential qualifications and general aptitude.
2. Skill Test: To assess computer proficiency and specific job-related skills.
3. Interview: Personal interview for shortlisted candidates after the written/skill test.
