Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech, MBA/PGDM

1. Position: Senior Consultant-2 (one Position)

2. Name of the Project: CGMFP & ICAR-IIMR joint project on “Millet Promotion in Chhattisgarh”

3. Emoluments: Rs 1.00 Lakh/ month (Consolidated)

4. Project Till: March 2022 (Likely to be extended up to 2023)

5. Qualification:

(i) Master’s degree in: Food Technology/Food Engineering/ Agrl. Processing Engineering/ MBA/ PGDM/ M. Tech or Equivalent Master Degree in Agri-Business/ Agri-Marketing/ AgriEconomics/ Agricultural Extension from Recognized Institute or allied fields.

(ii) Must be having relevant experience of 5-10 years. Exposure in FPOs Management with experience in Millet’s value chain including Production, Processing, and EDP in Millets and machinery retrofitting is preferred.

6. Roles & Responsibilities:

(i) Responsible for implementation, coordination and monitoring of all the activities to be conducted towards fulfillment of the MoU between IIMR and CGMFP Federation.

(ii) Responsible for the activity of preparing the DPR for the 10,000 MTPA millet processing plants.

(iii) Provide technical assistance to the CGMFP Federation on the procurement, storage, processing and marketing of Millets.

(iv) Provide technical inputs and necessary assistance to Federation for the identified Technology transfer of the Value-added Millet processing technology and products.

(v) The Senior Consultant shall report to the designated Nutrihub TBISC/IIMR officials and coordinate with the designated POC for the Federation.

(vi) The Senior Consultants shall visit the state of Chhattisgarh, at least once in every month, for progress review, field inspection and coordination of various activities.

(vii) The appointment of Senior Consultant shall be for the period of One Year, extendable as per prior mutual consent of CGMFP Federation and IIMR.

(viii) Any other task assigned by coordinator/ co-coordinator of ICAR-IIMR.
