Indian Institute of Management Bangalore invites applications for the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO). The Finance and Accounts function handles all aspects of strategic financial planning, financial management, and control, compliance with standards and procedures and audit matters in line with the requirements of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG).

2. No. of Positions: One

3. Education and Experience: 

a) Graduate with professional Chartered Accountancy qualifications. Additional professional qualification of ICMA/MBA in Finance from a reputed Institute would be desirable

b) Minimum of 20 years post qualification experience in a large organization/PSU/Government Institution in handling assignments listed under major duties and responsibilities.

c) a Leadership position in the last 5 years

d) Hands-on experience in an ERP environment

e) Very good IT skills

4. Compensation: Based on experience and qualification, compensation for the selected candidate is likely to be in the range of level 13 or above as mapped to 7th CPC pay scales along with standard entitlements as per IIMB Contract Appointment Rules.

5. Audience/interface:

a) Internal – Faculty, employees, departments, centres, programme offices, internal auditor, FAC and BoG, students

b) External – Statutory auditors, Principal Accountant General’s office, Ministry of Education, other relevant statutory authorities, banks and financial institutions, legal counsel and other external stakeholders
