1. Post Name: Position: Program Manager – Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship Programme

2. Key Skills / Abilities/Knowledge required: Possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a solution orientation mindset. Strong people person, the incumbent would work closely with MGNF stakeholders. Demonstrated experience working on policy and programmatic issues with multiple stakeholders including national, local governments and civil society organizations including community organizations.

a. Be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of urgency regarding timely follow up and customer service orientation with stakeholders. Ability to identify and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and have leadership ability to work effectively with all relevant stakeholders Proficiency in MS Office software, e-mail, electronic scheduling, databases and internet and ERP. Should have experience in database navigation

c. Communication skills - oral and written. Ability to effectively communicate across levels and senior leadership in a professional and effective manner. Negotiation skills- Ability to negotiate well with relevant stakeholders Strong commitment to service and capacity to collaborate and communicate with diverse communities – faculty, non academic staff, industry, and government stakeholders whom MGNF team interacts with. Ability to prioritize work opportunities and effectively manage the same with limited supervision. Some travel will be required

3. Location: IIM Bangalore

4. Educational qualification and Experience: Candidate should be a First-Class Graduate with a Post graduate Degree/MBA from a reputed Institution. Candidate should a minimum of 10 years of in handling the assignments listed under major duties & responsibilities including 8 eight of working experience in project management, preferably with a reputed national/ international organization in social development are preferred. Candidates with Experience working on policy and programmatic issues with multiple stakeholders including national, local governments and civil society organizations including community organizations

a. Candidates in the last 5 years should have been in a managerial position in a large organization in handling the assignments listed under major duties & responsibilities. Fluency in English, Hindi; ability to communicate in Kannada would be an added advantage.  Similar Experience in Industry/ higher education would be useful Exposure to working in a Digital work environment would help

5. Compensation: This is a project and tenure-based appointment, and the total consolidated pay would be Rupees 84000 per month

6. Reporting Relationships: Program Manager will report to Program Directors of the education programs.

7. Audience/interface: Internal – Faculty, IIMB Administration team External – Clients (National or State Governments, Corporate).
