Engagement of full time Consultant in Spanish at School of Foreign Languages, IGNOU

i. IGNOU desires to engage full time Consultant in Spanish at School of Foreign Languages, IGNOU. The positions will be initially for a period of six months and extendable further as per requirement of the University. The nature of work at IGNOU would involve activities pertaining to design, development and delivery of academic programmes from Certificate to PG Level.

ii. It would include writing, editing and revision of course material, preparation of Audio/Visual material; conducting interactive counselling through radio, television, social media platforms, coordination with Regional Centres (RCs) & Learner Support Centres (LSCs), learners/stakeholders and assisting the Faculty/Programme Coordinator in day to day activities related to course development and its maintenance.

4. Remuneration : Rs.40,000 – Rs.60,000 (As per IGNOU norms)

5. Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in the concerned language with minimum 55% marks (for General Category) or minimum 50% marks (for Reserved Category)

6. Desirable:

i) NET in the concerned subject

ii) Ph.D. in the concerned language/ area with 02 years of teaching experience

iii) Research publications in the concerned language/area, Knowledge of ICT based teaching/learning, Design, development and delivery of MOOCs in the concerned language/area

Selection Procedure

No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview; only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview. Interview date will be informed later
