Number of Vacancy: 1 Posts

Educational Qualification: M.A, M.Ed, M.Sc, PG Diploma, M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one post of Academic Consultant in the School of Education (SOE) for a duration of 12 months (with the recruitment being initially for a period of six months after which it may be extended depending on the candidate’s performance). Educational qualifications and experience for the posts are given as follows:

1. Name of the Post: Academic Consultant

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary: The remuneration would be Rs.40,000-60,000 per month (consolidated).

4. Essential: MA (Psychology), M.Ed. & Ph.D. or MA/MSc (Any subject), M.Ed. with specialization in Guidance & Counselling/PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling and Ph.D. 55% marks for General Category or 50% marks for reserved category in Master’s Degree. Experience of minimum 5 years in research/teaching

5. Desirable:

a. Experience in open and distance learning material development

b. Fluency in English and Hindi language skills

c. Good computer skill 

6. Job profile: The nature of work would involve activities pertaining to development of in-service teacher training programme to be offered by the University. The job would include writing and editing of course material, supervising and vetting the Hindi translation and assisting the faculty in day-to-day activities related to programme development and delivery.
