Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Required: Post Graduate degree in the following disciplines from a recognized institution:
    • Pharmacology (M.Pharm / M.S Pharm)
    • Biomedical Sciences (M.Sc)
    • Life Sciences (M.Sc)
    • Physiology (M.Sc)
    • Biochemistry (M.Sc)
    • Biotechnology (M.Sc)
    • Any other relevant discipline
  • Desirable: NET/GATE qualification or any national eligibility test will be preferred.

Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Maximum Age: 35 years.
  • Cut-off Date: The effective date for reckoning the upper age limit is the date of the advertisement (12/02/2026). Note: The age limit is strictly 35 years as of the cutoff date.
  • Relaxation: Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as Government of India rules (standard 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC).

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience in handling small laboratory animals (mice and rats).
  • Proficiency in in-vivo toxicity/efficacy analysis and molecular investigations.
  • Experience in Invitro cell culture studies and Flow Cytometry.
  • Experience in Next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation (QIAseq Human Exome Panel).

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a tertiary care, super-specialty hospital located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India. It was established in 2009 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The ILBS is a mono-superspeciality hospital, which means that it provides primarily liver and biliary care. This focus on a single organ system allows the institute to achieve a high degree of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of liver and biliary diseases

The ILBS has a team of over 1000 doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The doctors are all highly qualified and experienced in liver and biliary diseases. They have received training in some of the best medical institutions in India and abroad.

The ILBS has a state-of-the-art infrastructure. It has a sanctioned capacity of 549 beds, out of which more than 300 are already operational, 4 operation theaters, a 24x7 emergency department, a blood bank, a pathology laboratory, and a radiology department. The hospital also has a dedicated research center.
