1. Name of Post: Chief General Manager (Projects)
2. Number of Post: One (01)
3. Location: Mumbai
4. Terms of appointment: On usual terms of Deputation for 03 years subject to extension of exemption from the rule of Immediate Absorption beyond 01.11.2022 from Ministry of PSW/Department of Public Enterprises OR On Contract for 03 years extendable further upto 02 years based on performance of the candidate and requirement of the Company OR On Re-employment annual contract basis extendable further based on performance of the candidate and requirement of the Company.
5. Eligibility Criteria:
A. For appointment on Deputation: Officers should have overall experience of Civil Engineering in CDA Scales only in Railways/RaiIways PSUs/PSUs operating in the field of Railways/ JV Companies under Govt. control operating in the field of Railways/ Govt. Companies operating in the field of Railways subject to the following: Should be working in SAG/SG i.e. in PB-4/GP 10000 (pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to Matrix level 14 (7th CPC) or GP 8700 (pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to matrix level 13 (7th CPC) with minimum 17 years of Group -A service.
B. For appointment on Contract for Officers presently working on absorption or contract in CDA/IDA Scales: Officers should have at least 25 years of overall experience in Civil Engineering in Railways/Railways PSUs/PSUs operating in the field of Railways/ JV Companies under Govt. control operating in the field of Railways/ Govt. Companies operating in the field of Railways subject to the following:
i) For Officers working on absorption or contract in CDA scale: Officers working in PB4 (37400-67000) + GP 10,000 (Pre-revised 6th CPC) Revised to matrix level 14 under 7th CPC. OR Selection Grade Officers working in PB-4 + GP Rs. 8700/- (Pre-revised 6th CPC) Revised to matrix level 13 under 7th CPC with minimum 20 years of Group 'A' Service.
ii) For Officers working on absorption or contract in IDA Scale: Officers working in E8 in IDA pay-scale of Rs. 51300-73000 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to 120000-280000 under 3rd PRC having 20 years of Managerial / Executive level service. OR Officers working in E7 in IDA scale of Rs.43200-66000 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to 100000-260000 under 3rd PRC for a period of 3 years and having a total of 20 years of Managerial / Executive level service.
C. For appointment on Contract for candidates working in Private Sector: Officers working in private sector should have at least 25 years of overall experience in Civil Engineering in Companies operating in the field of Railways subject to the following:
(i) Officers working at the level of CGM equivalent & above and drawing a minimum monthly gross salary of at least Rs.2.5 Lacs/- (Rupees Two Lacs Fifty Thousand).
(ii) Should have Managerial level service experience of at least 20 years.
(iii) Officer must be working in a Company engaged in Civil Engineering in the field of Railways and the Sales Turnover of the Company for the preceding year 2020-21 should be at least Rs.200 Crores.
D. For appointment on Re-employment: Officers who have taken Voluntary Retirement (VR) or retired on Superannuation should have at least 25 years of overall experience in Civil Engineering in CDA/IDA Scales in Railways/Railways PSUs/PSUs operating in the field of Railways/ JV Companies under Govt. control operating in the field of Railways/ Govt. Companies operating in the field of Railways subject to the following :
(i) Officers who have taken VR or retired on Superannuation in CDA scale: The Officer should have taken VR or retired on superannuation in PB-4 in the GP 10000/- (Pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to matrix level 14 under 7th CPC.
(ii) Officers who have taken VR or retired on Superannuation in IDA Scale: The Officer should have taken VR or retired on superannuation in E-8 level in IDA pay-scale of Rs. 51300-73000 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to 120000- 280000 under 3rd PRC.

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
Last date of receiving applications by online mode or by post / courier in IPRCL Office: 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News.
1. All qualifications should be recognized by UGC/AICTE/AIU(GOI).
2. Additional weightage may be given to candidates having additional relevant qualifications.
3. IPRCL reserves the right to raise/modify the eligibility criteria in minimum educational qualification and/or minimum work experience.
4. Appointment shall be subject to Service and Conduct Rules of IPRCL.
5. Application should be duly forwarded through "Proper Channel" along with Certified copies of last 5 years APARs/ACRs. However, advance copy of application shall be considered. In case of difficulty in forwarding the application through "Proper Channel", Candidate has to attach a declaration that, if Shortlisted, No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be produced at the time of Interview.
6. If the candidate is not in a position to forward the application through "Proper Channel" nor he / she may be able to produce NOC at the time of Interview then the applicant may send his / her application along with self-certified copies of last 5 years ACR/APARs and other requisite documents. However, in case Of his / her selection to the post he / she has to be properly relieved from the parent organization for which he / she will have to compulsory obtain a Relieving Letter and submit the same in IPRCL while joining the Company tailing which he / she will not be allowed to join the Company.
7. Conditions mentioned above in Para. v. & partly in Para vi. regarding requirement of application through proper channel/ NOC are not applicable for Candidates working in Private Sector and Retired Govt/PSU employees.
8. IPRCL takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or loss in postal transit of any application or communication. Candidates in their own interest are advised to submit applications well in time before the last date to avoid possible delay in postal transit. Application received after due date will be summarily rejected.
9. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect / false information / certificate / documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected at the time of Interview his / her candidature shall be rejected. Even after appointment and joining if any of these short comings is / are detected, his/her services are liable to be terminated.
10. The candidate must satisfy himself about the fulfillment of eligibility criteria. In case he is found ineligible at the time of interview or after selection, then his / her candidature will be treated as cancelled automatically without any communication in this regard.
