Note for Pensioners: Personnel retired from Central/State Government service and drawing pension will receive fixed remuneration after deducting gross basic pension from the pay drawn at retirement, as per applicable Government norms.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized Institute/University specialized in General Practice.
• Mandatory Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-internship experience as a Medical Officer/Medical Practitioner in a reputed hospital, medical centre, healthcare facility, or centre of a reputed educational/research institution.
• Preference: Candidates with experience of providing medical services in an educational/research institution, autonomous institution, or campus-based healthcare facility will be given preference.
• Other Requirements: Basic computer skills (JNCASR functions in a computerized environment).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Applications received will be scrutinized for eligibility.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• A Committee will be constituted for the purpose of selection based on qualification, experience, suitability, and other requirements.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• M.B.B.S. Degree Certificate and all consolidated Mark Sheets.
• Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (minimum 5 years post-internship).
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
• Completed application in the prescribed format (Annexure-II of the notification).
