Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for the post of a JRF for the Inter-University Accelerator Centre (ItJAC)-funded research project entitled "Study of metastatic potential of p53 mutant human lung cancer cells 1-11299 irradiated with carbon ion", under Dr. Utpal Ghosh, (PI), Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics, University of Kalyani. Kalyani, Nadia, W.B. Pin-741235.
1. Name of the Post: JRF
2. Salary: As per IUAC rules.
3. Essential Qualification:
i) M.Sc. in any branches of Life Sciences having at least 60% marks in aggregate and NET/GATE.
ii) Experience in doing PCR and mammalian cell culture
4. Project duration: Three years

Selection Procedure
Mode of Interview: The interview may be conducted either in online or offline mode. Information will be provided to the shortlisted candidates via email. Candidates should appear for an interview in person if the interview will be conducted in offline mode. However, the interview may also be arranged by on line mode through Google Meet or WhatsApp video call. Candidates should provide their e-mail ID, mobile number and whatsapp number in their bio-data, No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The date of the interview will be informed via e-mail/phone.

The University of Kalyani was established in 1960, is a state-government administered, affiliating and research university in Nadia district of West Bengal. It offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
The university was established on 1 November 1960 by the Kalyani University Act 1960 of the state of West Bengal. The University of Kalyani is a State- University and its activities are guided by the Kalyani University Act, 1981 (amended up to 2001), enacted by the Govt. of West Bengal. The Act is supplemented by 'Statutes', 'Ordinances','Regulations' and 'Rules'. This act replaced 'The Kalyani University (Temporary Suppression) Act, 1978, which in turn replaced 'The Kalyani University Act, 1960. The University Grants Commission accorded recognition to the university.
