Applications are invited for the position of Project Fellow (PF) to work in the project titled “Monitoring and assessment of microplastic pollution in water, sediment and selected biota of Vembanad Lake, Kerala” funded by Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), Government of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, under the supervision of Prof. E. V. Ramasamy (Principal Investigator), School of Environmental Sciences, MG University, Kottayam, Kerala.

3. Salary: 22,000/pm consolidated

The emoluments / fellowship and eligibility will be as per KSCSTE norms. The position is temporary and initially for a period of one month, extendable to one more year based on the performance of the candidate which will be evaluated by a committee constituted by the PI and the project implementing organization.

4. Essential Qualification:

M.Sc. in Environment Science/ Environment Science and Management/ Environment Science and Disaster Management with minimum 60% marks/ CGPA of 7.0 or above (10 point scale) with consistently good academic records

5. Desirable qualification:

Experience in Microplastic related work, water and sediment sampling and analysis for various water quality parameters, an experience certificate (copy) in this regard need to be attached with the application.
