Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

Educational Qualification

  • Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from a recognized University/Institute.

Experience Requirements

Candidates must possess extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Banking, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Strategy, or Financial Advisory.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at the senior-most level (preferably as CFO, CGM, or GM in charge of Treasury).
  • Strong exposure to Bank Financial Statements, Regulatory Requirements, and Treasury/ALM concepts.

  • Minimum Age: 30 Years
  • Maximum Age: 62 Years

Salary and Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive a highly competitive consolidated remuneration package:

  • Base Salary: ₹50,00,000 to ₹60,00,000 per annum.
  • Increments: Annual increment up to a maximum of 10% based on satisfactory performance.
  • Allowances:
    • HRA: 10% of remuneration if official quarters are not allotted.
    • Quarters: Available at 0.5% of remuneration as license fee.
    • Travel: Travelling & Halting Allowance admissible to equivalent grade officers.
  • Medical: Medical facility for self only at Bank dispensary.
  • Benefits: No superannuation benefits (No PF, Pension, or Gratuity).

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Logo

Reserve Bank of India (RBI), constituted a committee to review the arrangements for institutional credit for agriculture and rural development (CRAFICARD) on 30 March 1979 to review the arrangements for institutional credit for agriculture and rural development. The Committee, in its interim report, submitted on 28 November 1979, felt the need for a new organisational device for providing undivided attention, forceful direction and pointed focus to the credit problems arising out of integrated rural development and recommended the formation of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). NABARD came into existence on 12 July 1982 by transferring the agricultural credit functions of RBI and refinance functions of the then Agricultural Refinance and Development Corporation (ARDC).
