Number of Vacancy: 5 Posts

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/PGDM, M.Plan

NHAI proposes to engage the services of professionals for the following positions on contract basis for ICT Project Monitoring Unit being created in the NHAI Headquarters. The Details of positions and terms & conditions as well as period of engagement, eligibility, experience etc. are as under:-

1. Position: Joint Advisor (Product Manager)

2. No. of positions: Two (02)

3. Method of Recruitment: On Contract basis

4. Period of Contract: Initial tenure of engagement will be for a period of one year in the first instance, which may be further extended on yearly basis upto two more years, based on the requirements of the NHAI and the satisfactory performance.

5. Remuneration (Per Month): Rs. 1,25,000/- (all inclusive)

6. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Technology/ Engineering. OR A Master’s degree in Business/Computer Science/IT/ICT.

7. Experience: 

(a) Minimum 5 years of product management experience including managing the KPIs, Requirements, UX and direct coordination with technical teams and business stakeholders.

(b) Should have experience in SDLC life cycles (Scrum or Agile) and task management software’s Jira or Github preferred.

(c) Experience with product level data analytics, userengagement, feedback, setting up KPIs etc.

(d) Demonstrated experience in designed work-flows, mockups and reengineering of processes using IT.

(e) Previous experience as team lead in software development is preferred

8. Job Description: 

(a) Support IT division in management of NHAI’s core MIS system Data Lake and other supplementary or integrated systems. Understand the requirements and provide technical inputs wherever required.

(b) Finalize functional requirements, UI/UX wireframes, workflows for ongoing and new requirements. Check the effectiveness of workflows for Data / documents.

(c) Liaison, with IT vendors and downstream NHAI counterparts to provide supervisory services and help NHAI contract management with vendors. (d) Ability to prepare road maps, roll-out plans etc. for IT Projects.

(e) Responsible for reviewing and approving software artefacts to ensure it meet customer, business and compliance requirements.

(f) Co-ordination with high level authorities and stakeholder of other organizations for faster delivery of solutions and resolutions.

(f) Scoping interventions to use emerging technologies and its implementation.

(g) Monitoring the use of NHAI IT systems and preparing KPIs for vendor management.

(h) Any other responsibility as assigned by NHAI during the tenure.

2. No. of positions: Two(02)

3. Method of Recruitment: On Contract basis

4. Period of Contract: Initial tenure of engagement will be for a period of one year in the first instance, which may be further extended on yearly basis upto two more years, based on the requirements of the NHAI and the satisfactory performance.

5. Remuneration (Per Month): Rs. 1,25,000/- (all inclusive)

6. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering OR Master’s degree in Business Analytics/ Data Analytics/ Computer Science/ IT /ICT/ MBA or Economics.

7. Experience: 

(a) Minimum 3 years Experience in Data Science, Analytics with large data sets and proficiency in SQL and strong proficiency in conducting analysis in Python.

(b) Professional Experience building visualizations and dashboards through BI solutions (Power BI, Tableau etc.)

(c) Fundamental understanding or demonstrated experience of using algorithmic techniques such as machine learning, optimization, NLP, GIS, network analysis is preferred

8. Job Description: 

(a) Explore different aspects for use of AI/ ML, designing of algorithms, and advanced analytics tools on the large volume of Data / Information accumulated in Data Lake Portal.

(b) Perform analytics on data to identify exceptions, anomalies, themes, trends / patterns.

(c) Design and develop data visualizations to assist NHAI with actionable information from the data set.

(d) Translate data issues/insights into easy to understand briefs dashboards based on AI / ML outcome.

(e) Deep analysis to break down business scenarios into constituent parameters to identify interventions required.

(f) Any other responsibility as assigned by NHAI during the tenure.

2. No. of positions: One (01)

3. Method of Recruitment: On Contract basis

4. Period of Contract: Initial tenure of engagement will be for a period of one year in the first instance, which may be further extended on yearly basis upto two more years, based on the requirements of the NHAI and the satisfactory performance.

5. Remuneration (Per Month): Rs. 1,25,000/- (all inclusive)

6. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s OR Master’s Degree in Traffic and Transportation Planning/ Urban Planning/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Civil Engineering /Geology.

7. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in case possessing Bachelors Degree and 3 years in case of Master’s Degree. Should possess experience in GIS based analysis such as algorithms, planning, network optimization or modelling, service area calculations, visualizations etc.

8. Job Description: 

(a) Overall manage the GIS products and projects within NHAI

(b) Understand the requirements of NHAI and provide technical inputs wherever required pertaining to Project Execution and Monitoring.

(c) Strengthen the system in place to ensure Highway assets are geo-tagged and updated.

(d) Coordinate between vendors, NHAI field and HQ pertaining to GIS related projects and provide technical assistance wherever needed.

(e) Explore and promote meaningful use of GIS in the entire lifecycle of a highway project from planning to maintenance including road-safety, identifying accident blackspots etc.

(f) Represent NHAI on the Road Asset Management System (RAMS) currently in use / improvement.

(g) Explore the use of network analytics/service area calculation for NHAI assets, patrol units, way-side amenities etc.

(h) Any other responsibility as assigned by NHAI during the tenure.
