Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, MVSC
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against DST funded project entitled “Development of large animal models and polyherbal medicines to treat ovarian cysts in livestock”. PI: Dr. H.B.D.Prasada Rao, Scientist-E.
1. Post: Junior Research Fellow
2. Duration: 3 Months
3. Eligibility: Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Tech in Life Sciences/M. V. Sc. etc.) or Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification or Non-NET-qualified candidates with post graduate degree in Life Sciences can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
4. Desired Experience: Candidate with the experience in reproductive biology, small and large animal handling will be given preference.
5. Fellowship amount: Rs.31,000/-PM+24%HRA=38,440/-PM as per the DST guidelines.

Selection Procedure
1. Online Interview Link will be sent to the shortlisted candidates only.
2. Candidates meeting the essential and relevant criteria will be considered for an interview through video conferencing on 09th February 2022 from 10:00 AM onwards.

The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), was established in the year 2010, It’s an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology comes under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
The vision and mission of the institute are to develop sustainable and global competitive livestock industry through innovative technology, pharmaceutical and biologics for animal health care.
The NIA collaborated with the university of Hyderabad, conducting M.Sc & Ph.d. Programs to train young scientist in discipline of, Translational Research, Genomics, Nutrition Enrichment, Transgenic Technology, Infectious Diseases, Reproductive Biotechnology, etc.
