Educational Qualification: First Class Masters or equivalent Post Graduate degree in Home Science! Food and Nutrition/ Food Technology with NET Qualification. Knowledge of FSSAI regulations, MS-Office and report writing Literature search, monograph writing, facilitating the activities of the FSSAI/NetSCOFAN Group and field work.

Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.
How to Apply:
Applications will be received from the individuals by hand on the date of the Walk-in-interview between 9:30 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. at ICMR - National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the Institute after 10:30 A.M. under any circumstances. The Candidates may download the application form from www.nin.res.in and submit the same duly filled in along with one set of photocopies of certificates and one latest photograph and all the Original Certificates for verification failing which the candidature cannot be considered for Interview,

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
