National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) Invites Application for Project Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the below mentioned project implemented by this institute as detailed thereon.

1. Post Name: Project Junior Research Fellow

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Name of the Project: Impact of Covid-19 on clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment outcome and immune response for pulmonary tuberculosis-ABRICOT study

4. Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Bio Statistics from a recognized university

5. Desirable Qualification: One year research experience in working with clinical/Research studies. Experience in handling data collection, recording, drafting analysis table, good conceptual and analytical skills and Wideranging computer skills

6. Nature of Duties: Perform data cleaning and management of the data being generated from NIRT-ICER research studies Work with Statistical packages like STATA, SPSS, R Software Latex for data analysis. Involve in monitoring the daily work reports generated

7. Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.31,000/- + HRA of Rs.8,370/- p.m

8. Duration Initially for a period of Six Months

3. Name of the Project: Identification of Bovine Tuberculosis Specific Proteins by the Immuno Proteomic Approach

4. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology OR Post Graduate Degree in Bio-Technology

5. Desirable Qualification: One year research experience in handling Mycobacterial cultures and molecular techniques. Experience in handling data, recording, drafting analysis table, good conceptual and analytical skills and Wide-ranging computer skills

6. Nature of Duties: Mycobacterial culture in large scale Preparation of culture filtrate proteins and analysis Mass Spec Analysis 4. Immunological Assays

7. Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.31,000/- + HRA of Rs.8,370/- p.m

8. Duration Initially for a period of Six Months
