The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the below mentioned projects implemented by this institute as detailed thereon
1. Post Name: Project Senior Lab Technician
2. Name of the Project: External Quality Assurance & Drug Resistance Survey under NTEP

5. Essential Qualification:
B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Life Science with or without DMLT with five years’ of experience in TB Bacteriology. OR M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with or without DMLT with three years’ of work experience in TB Bacteriology.
6. Nature of Duties:
To perform laboratory tests including Culture & DST as well as molecular detection of drug resistance. To manufacture panel testing slides for EQA of sputum smear microscopy. To assist the Microbiologist/ Biotechnologist during On Site Evaluation/assessment visits. To facilitate in laboratory training programmes. To prepare culture/DNA banks and conduct proficiency testing as well as retesting exercise for all participating laboratories.
8. Emoluments Consolidated salary: Rs.25,000/- p.m
9. Duration: Initially for a period of Six Months.

Selection Procedure
1. The date of online/skype interview will be intimated to the eligible/shortlisted candidates by e-mail and in return they will have to send their skype id by e-mail.
2. Date of Online/Skype interview may be changed due to administrative reasons, hence, candidates are advised to check website before appearing for Online/Skype Interview.
