Number of Vacancy: 3 Posts

Educational Qualification: B.Sc, 12TH, M.Sc

The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the below mentioned projects implemented by this institute as detailed thereon.

1. Name of the post : Project Technical Assistant (Lab)

2. Name of the Project :Evaluate the effectiveness, safety and tolerability of various doses of Linezolid in combination with Bedaquiline and Pretomanid in Adults with Pre-Extensively Drug-Resistant (Pre-XDR), Or Treatment Intolerant/Non-responsive Multidrug-Resistant (MDRTI/NR) Pulmonary Tuberculosis in India

3. Place of posting : Chennai

4. Number of post : 01

5 .Essential qualification :  Graduate in Science from a recognized university with 3 years’ work experience from a recognized institution. Master’s degree in Science subjects.

6. Emoluments : Consolidated salary Rs.31,000/- p.m

7. Nature of Duties : Get trained in laboratory Protocol of mBPal study as well as SOPs and training manuals. Perform sputum processing, culture and DST for the study samples. Perform DNA extraction (following all steps of PCR) for Line Probe assay on all sputum sample received. Perform any other study related activities delegated by Study Coordinator/Principal Investigator.

8.Duration : Initially for a period of Six Months

1. Name of the post : Project Assistant ( Statistical Assistant)

2. Name of the Project :Evaluate the effectiveness, safety and tolerability of various doses of Linezolid in combination with Bedaquiline and Pretomanid in Adults with Pre-Extensively Drug-Resistant (Pre-XDR), Or Treatment Intolerant/Non-responsive Multidrug-Resistant (MDRTI/NR) Pulmonary Tuberculosis in India

4. Number of post : 01

5 .Essential qualification :  Graduate in Statistics/ Biostatistics/Applied Statistics from a recognized university with 3 years’ work experience from a recognized institution. Master’s degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics/Applied Statistics

6. Emoluments : Consolidated salary Rs.31,000/- p.m

7. Nature of Duties : Will be responsible for ensuring data completion and accuracy in the project database. Conduct periodic data checks, trouble shooting, interact with the study sites for data quality and verification. Prepare periodic analysis and report. Perform any other study related activities delegated by Study Coordinator/Principal Investigator.

8.Duration : Initially for a period of Six Month

1. Name of the post : Project Data Entry Operator (Grade B)

2. Name of the Project :Evaluate the effectiveness, safety and tolerability of various doses of Linezolid in combination with Bedaquiline and Pretomanid in Adults with Pre-Extensively Drug-Resistant (Pre-XDR), Or Treatment Intolerant/Non-responsive Multidrug-Resistant (MDRTI/NR) Pulmonary Tuberculosis in India

4. Number of post : 01

5 .Essential qualification :  Intermediate or 12th Pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized institute and/or 2 years' experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization. A Speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph) through speed test on computer.

6. Emoluments : Consolidated salary Rs.18,000/- p.m

7. Nature of Duties : Data Entry of study related data collected from the field into the project software and all other related work. Assist in data verification and ensure data quality and accuracy. Perform any other study related activities delegated by Study Co-ordinator/Principal Investigator.

8.Duration : Initially for a period of Six Months
