Educational Qualification: M.Sc
The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the below mentioned projects implemented by this institute as detailed thereon.
1. Post Name: Project Consultant (Non-Medical)
2. No. of Post: 02
3. Name of the Project: The potential impact of COVID-19 pandemic on tuberculosis epidemic.
4. Essential qualification: 1 st Class Post graduate Degree in Statistics/ Bio-statistics /Applied Mathematics/Epidemiology or equivalent with 2 years work experience in health related project in a recognized organization/ institution and published papers.
5. Desirable Qualification: Work experience in epidemiological modelling, mathematical modelling in health/neural network models, projection techniques Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) simulation, Bayesian statistics, systematic review and meta-analysis.
6. Nature of Duties It involves data collection on TB, and to assess the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on TB prevalence and incidence.
7. Emoluments Salary of Rs.65,000/- p.m.
8. Duration Initially for a period of Six Months
Pay Scale:
INR
65000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years.
Selection Procedure
The Director /Selection Committee has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason thereof. Canvassing and bringing pressure in any form for short listing, interview and employment will be a disqualification and barred from selection process.

The prime objective of Institute is to carry out research on all aspects (Clinical / Bacteriological / Epidemiological / Laboratory) of Tuberculosis and HIV, by coordinating nation wide surveys to assess the prevalence of Drug resistance to Antituberculosis Drugs and also provide quality assurance to the laboratory component of National Programme.
