Educational Qualification: Candidates Should have MBBS OR Equivalent Degree recognized by Medical Council of India with 1 Year Experience of Working in NTEP.

Age Limit: Maximum 65 years.
Candidates should bring the filled application form along with the self-attested photocopies of the eligibility documents mentioned under terms & conditions to the office of Mission Director, NHM, J&K at State Health Society, RIHFW, Nagrota, Jammu before 18-12-2021.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Preference will be given to the Candidates from the Concerned District. The District Wise Merit List of the Candidates shall be prepared and the selection of the Candidates shall be made on District merit. In case a District candidate is not available then Divisional Merit shall be considered.
2. For the posts of DRT-TB Coordinator, & Medical Officer (STC) STO, Jammu the selection of candidates shall be made on Divisional merit.
3. Hiring will be purely on a contractual basis, the initial contract for hiring shall be up to 31st March 2022, and the further yearly extension will be subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate/ approval of the post by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
4. Application form shall be available on the official website www.jknhm.com which is the only and authentic source of information with respect to National Health Mission, J&K. This office shall not be responsible for inconvenience caused to anybody due to misleading false information made available by any other source/website(s) purportedly claiming to be associated with NHM, J&K, in any manner whatsoever, the last date of submission of application forms would be 18th of December 2021 and no application would be entertained after the above-mentioned date.

National Health Mission (NHM) is now called as NRHM (National Rural Health Mission) & NUHM (National Urban Health Mission).National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) has an aim of bringing a drastic change in the health system and the health status of the people specially those living in rural areas of the country. It also provides affordable and quality health care, population stabilization which would help to achieve goals that are set under the National Health Policy and the Millennium Development Goals.
The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) was founded in April 2005 by Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) started at the National Level in April 2005. But in Jammu and Kashmir State it was started in December, 2005, Jammu and Kashmir State is one of the focused States in context to National Rural Health Mission (NRHM). The First phase of NRHM from the year 2005 - 2012 has focus on building infrastructure gaps and provide manpower to improve the delivery of health care services. Second phase of NRHM from 2012 - 2017, has focus that their should be more on health system for suitable conditions of health system in the State.
