5. Eligibility Criteria for appointment on deputation (Including Short Term Contract) : Officers under the Central / State Governments / Union Territories / Semi Government / Public Sector Undertakings / Statutory or Autonomous Organisations / Engineering Universities / Research and Development Organisations: -

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or

(ii) with 2 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level-13 A(Rs. 131100 -216600/-) of pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; or (iii) with 3 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level-13(Rs. 123100-215900/-) of pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department;

(b)(i) Possessing degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent ii) experience in applied research in the field of irrigation and water utilization and/or experience in surveys, investigations, designs, preparation of irrigation project, construction, operation and maintenance of irrigation projects/works.
